Digital Train Works offers a variety of products and services in Model Railroading focusing on DCC and Custom Model Painting and Detailing. If you are just starting out in DCC, we have a full line of Digitrax starter sets that provide everything you need to get you up and running quickly. For the more advanced DCC user, we also carry Digitrax boosters, command stations, full featured throttles, detection and signal components, stationary decoders, mobile decoders, function decoders, power management components, computer interface, and other LocoNet components to make your favorite model perform just like the real thing!
Newly added! We are now a Soundtraxx dealer. Interested in adding sound to your models? Digital Train Works also carries quality Soundtraxx sound decoders including the Tsunami Digital Sound Decoders. Nothing brings a model more to life than adding true to life sounds.
We also offer decoder installation services for those a little unsure about dismantling your favorite new model. Our decoder installation service includes a multipoint inspection for reliability and compatibility (a DCC decoder will not make a poorly running DC locomotive run any better), DCC decoder recommendation, locomotive tune-up, lubrication and return shipping and insurance.
In addition, we offer custom painting and detailing services for all your favorite road schemes. Working from your research or ours, we strive to duplicate the prototype as close as possible in your modeling scale. Digitrax items may be purchased from our  store - Digital Train Works or directly from us. Please download the order form and either fax or e-mail your order. If we have your items in stock, we will ship them immediately. Although we try to maintain a large inventory, we sometimes find ourselves out of a particular item. We will special order any item we do not have and notify you of the expected delivery date. We accept PayPal, Visa, Master Card, Discover, Money Orders, Cashiers Checks, and of course cash.
